I bought a pony without seeing it from a well known stud really happy with him however the lady that delivered him too me when I asked for his passport mumbled about stud sending it on after, I have contacted the stud via phone calls and left messages but have had no reply, I've also sent numerous emails of which I have had one reply. It's been a few months now and I still haven't received the passport, any advise on how I stand legally with this would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance x

Is it a native pure bred pony? You can ask the Breed society if you have name etc and stud prefix. Sounds suspicious doesn't it?Just cos people run a stud doesn't mean they will be honest.

The most important thing is that you have a receipt saying you have purchased the pony and states the ponies name in full then you can write to the relevant society. Was it a transporter that delivered the pony as they shouldn't have travelled the pony with out it!!

Very true. Just shows how useless the passport system is!
