How do you put it in the bun ring? If your hair is very long then you won't need a bun ring, just coil it in a bun and use a hairnet you can use a scrunchie over the net (round the bun) if you like

I have really long hair too, it looks scruffy in a pony tail so I wear it in a bun. I wrap it round a large bun ring and cover it with a hairnet and some clips and it works fine, if I don't use a bun ring and just coil it into a bun, I find it always falls out!

On the converse - I have short hair just above the shoulders. It is too short to tie up, but long enough to dangle under a hat. A hair net won't stay on as I haven't got enough hair. What do people do with their not-quite hair?!

I have got really long thick hair so I just sort of fold it into a bun, it works, then I use cream coloured elastic bands and a hairnet as my hair is blonde to tidy the bun up. Elastic bands are better than bobbles as they are more stetchier so it won't ruin your style

What do people do with their not-quite hair?! I hair grip all mine up so not visible, hair spray it too my head and have a bun stitched into my hat so it looks like I have long hair, before that i used hair extensions clipped into my hair. Ps always take a baseball cap when your hats not needed

My daughter has very long hair. We plait it down the back. Then fold it up and put a bobble in. Very similar to plaiting a horse up!! Hair net then goes over the top and scrunchie goes on over the hair net so she ends up with a very tidy bun.

What do people do with their not-quite hair?! I have a false bun and I sewed a bit of elastic on it so I can put hold it on with that firstly, then I pin it to the rest of my hair followed by a hair net.
