Throughout her time with me Roma has had an extremely varied lifestyle. I have concentrated on showing her locally doing both flat and some working hunter pony classes. She has been to dressage, and had proffesional lessons with 'the moodys'. She has jumped on ponyclub nights, taken part in sponcered rides and had relentless hours of fun hacking with her friends(even with section D stallion). Roma does not blink an eye in traffic.
Although i have done a little jumping, through pony club and local working hunter pony classes, she has never been given regular jumping work, as i prefer not to jump at all and have neveer enjoyed it. However i have done a little as the pony really does love to jump and is very keen. Roma has been jumped by my teacher last season, and has proven she has the ability, and would be very fast against the clock.
Roma travels well both in trailors, side facing lorry and backwards. She will happily stand and be brushed for hours, she has never kicked or bitten. Shes absolutly fine for the farrier, she gets clipped every winter, fine with dentist, vet. Roma gets lunged regularly. She will play out in mixed feilds. Currently the pony lives out through the summer and in through the winter, although she would easily live out all year.
A teenager would have alot of fun doing showing and whp, Roma has won alot locally, qualifing for ultimate showcase etc, has also been got to championship at clumberpark welsh show. She could do a mother daughter share as she is very stocky. Roma isn't a donkey or a first pony, however on the odd occasion she has been ridden by various novices. Roma is loving life and loves to go out for a gallop, and who ever buys her will have alot of fun like i already have.
Roma is a real pony club contender, would go right to the top with a child who wants to have loads of fun, while being able to showing!
