Thanks Guestless this was a relevant post, that obviosuly turned sour at a personal Dig of the New Secretary of a county event.
They may have had a rant, which was justified, but i would really like to know about the supposed bad reputation the show has or had ??
I think from peoples points of view and you cant please everyone ! People will always favour one shows set up to another. But this doesnt mean the show has a bad reputation, In fact I think the show that was prevuoisly mentioned has a very freindly atmosphere.
But always some poisoned people that no matter what people do in this life be it good or bad will try and make you feel rubbish about yourself.
And those sort of people are really pathetic and need to get out there and do some good in this life rather than hiding away posting nasty comments that are aimed to be defamatory against the people that work hard to make a day sucessful.
Congratulations to all the Hard working Secretaries out there and to the ones that have sympathised with this post will know exactly where the gripes are coming from.
I think the post was posted to make the competiors aware of the problems faced and also i would like to know how better we can serve you.
If you know what causes problems then at least in the furture youare more likely to get it wrong.
I mean for Chruist sakes if we dont post our moans you dont realise and it goes on and on so at least they have been said.
So come on lets hear your views on why youthink certain events have bad reputations etc ?

I think my post has been misinterpreted, the show mentioned as far as I'm aware does have a good reputation. I was merely pointing out that the appointed new secretary could cause a bad name for the show if she carries on acting in the way she does. I have no problems with people airing their views but there are ways to go about it and the fact that many other posters have also picked up on which show the show sec is secretary of must say something in itself. I should think that this unprofessional conduct should be frowned upon by most societies? If the show secretary had a problem then perhaps she could have included a polite notice in the secretaries tent or catalogue, I'm sure this would have had more of an effect than posting in poor English, using slang anonymously on a forum (although perhaps I am being too civilised?). I am in no way poisoned or jealous of anybody mentioned (why I would be I'm not sure ) I think that this is perhaps the most intelligent reply that could be mustered. I have also managed to run a successful show this year (albeit with problems along the way) but I dealt with them with a smile and in a way in which I myself like to be treated whilst spending vast amounts of money competing at such shows.

I have no problems with people airing their views but there are ways to go about it and the fact that many other posters have also picked up on which show the show sec is secretary of must say something in itself. I should think that this unprofessional conduct should be frowned upon by most societies? We all need a rant at times and this forum often gives people an opportunity to have one. Let's now get this thread back on topic and away from the personal attack please or it will be locked.

Read my post slowly as you obviously to scared as you hide behind an anon name..... I T H I N K Y O U N E E D T O G O A N D G E T A L I F E !!! Rather than thinking you can bully people and hide away. People would rather have a person that doesnt spell correctly on a forum than a person who thinks they are so bright that they dare not come from behind their masks !!!
Conduct - Conduct does not constitute poor spelling etc so whats the Unprofessional conduct, - sending back an incorrect cheque ? Stating on an envelope that you need to provide one in 2008 That in my opnion are the only issues arising from this post so that is what you have an obvious issue with.
