Did anyone watch the HOYS 122 SHP class? A few ponies in there that were downright bloody dangerous, bad mannered and quite frankly not fit to be taken to an RC fun show! I feared for the safety of the kiddies riding them, one little girl ended up with her hat coming clean off her head and banging about on her shoulders, obviously the hat wasn't properly fitted or strapped up securely. I know anyone's pony can have an off day and act up, but these ponies looked like they had never seen the inside of a showring (and maybe they shouldn't at all!!) We entered with no intention or hope of a placing (and we were right ) but had a lovely day and saw some stunning ponies and we were in good company with the other 'also rans', well done to those that got placed, I think the judges had a hard job today as so many lovely ponies to choose from.

could you tell me what won the 12hh class please Sorry, I'm not sure At the time they were calling out the names, I heard someone talking about our pony and was earwigging to see what they were saying (I think it was something good I certainly hope it was good as there was a lot worse in the class than him!) It might have been Wingland Makebelieve but don't quote me on it

Thank you what ponys were playing up I'm not sure They had run out of catalogues and weren't ponies that I'd seen before. They had to bring them all down to walk while the steward sorted them out, poor little kiddies, I hope it didn't spoil their day too much, not nice to have a pony tank off with you

Thanks pitstop Gwilym is great and Cheshire is a good show for him we got him in 2005 a week before cheshire but he did not go to cheshire last year as Nat rode Kirkhamgate Mr Cool. Nat stepped in yesterday as my daughter Sarah is riding him this year but she was in the intermediate championship, it is nice to know other people like him as we think he is lovely.
