Congratulations to Jean - what a great result and good luck at Olympia - not sure who the judge was and not to take anything away from Jean's win as did not see that class - but was not impressed with judging in large breeds. Personally I felt Sam was robbed on the Dale - the judge only stripped 6 ponies and as there were only 9 in it seemed very rude. She did not make any changes in the line up on performance - and in my opinion should have. Who was the judge as I would not travel to go under her again.

Personally I felt Sam was robbed on the Dale Don't really agree, this is just an observation and not meant to be a horrid comment, but I feel that the Dales mare has lost it's Dales movement, she used to move much more up, out and open in front from the shoulder, but this season she moves more up and down from the knee, much more like a Fell than the wheel action of a Dale, as I say it's an observation!

I think the D winner was Broughton Royal Pride. I wouldnt swear to it though! When I was watching it was definitely a black mare in first and she is the only black mare in the catalogue. Whoever it was certainly was a lovley cob and moved fantastically!
