Colne WHP: Didn't notice who won the 15hh 14hh: 1st Glengoole Boy (Champ) 2nd Bobbing Surf (Res Res) 13hh: 1st Hanmere Mavarick (Res) Didn't notice Nursery Stakes either. I had a very good day with brilliant weather, but felt like there was no atmosphere like there always used to be (not been for a few years)...Well done to everyone, and good luck to people who've not yet competed!

The fell ridden had strange judging. The top pony wrong legged it on both reins and the second pony didn't really gallop as it swapped leads. Where's as 3rd and 4th did foot perfect shows...

Have nothing to do with M&M's, but think showing should take something from the Olympics dressage, does not matter how lovely the horse or pony is, if it does not perform on the day, does not get the placing. Or maybe that like Charlottes test with the blip at the end every other movement was performed in a more correct fashion then the others with a better picture, that the overall score (including lower marks for their mistakes) was still higher then the the others who maybe didn't perform as well overall - if that makes any sense! And obviously a portion of the marks will be for how nice the pony is and if it meets the breed standards in the judges opinion.

No Unfortunately he didn't - Holtess House of Cards won the class , but Twizzle was a star he went well for both Liz & the ride judge .

I think Becki P won the A's on the delami pony
Really pleased with Windy being 2nd in big class at only his 5th show with us and he just gets better and better. Ollie and Jo have just done the best job with him fingers crossed we will get there - was just hoping to avoid the long long trip to Devon!

Would just like to say what a fantastic whp course on Wednesday. One of the best - if not THE best of the year. Very good use of the undulations and imaginative fences

As an observer watching the fell class yesterday, I thought the judging was pretty spot on. The top 2 ponies were switched after the inital pull in, the winner wronged legged it for a stride on its second lead, not on both as stated above and the second pony went disunited in its gallop and the 3rd placed pony wouldn't stand for the judge. It came down to type and preferance. All 3 ponies were a lovley example of the breed! Well done to them all!
