Just to ask what top three things people really want from an equine transporter?
Obviously the safety of the horse is paramount- but what else do you want from an individual or company moving your beloved equine around?

Full insurance cover and doing everything by the book, checking passports etc. Far too many people are transporting horses owned by other people at cheaper prices by 'cutting corners'.
Bio security - disinfecting fully with virkon between horses to prevent spreading strangles. A large livery yard in this area ended up with strangles as a transporter had delivered an infected horse from beeston to someone and then a few days later collected a new horse from someone at the livery yard and it picked up strangles in the lorry. I understand it's cost effective to collect horses for the return part of a journey but cross contamination should be considered.
Communication - traffic jams and difficult loaders can't be avoided but keeping people updated is vital imo.
