Hi, I'm looking to make some brush fillers. I've heard that a pallet cut in half would be good but not sure what to use for the actual brush. Something that will stand the weather! Any ideas welcome! Thanks

I saw a great filler made using about seven or eight very cheap halloween witches brooms with the handles cut down, looked great.
Could you maybe use some of the thatch garden screening? maybe taking out one line of the reinforcing wire to make the top more brushy.

We made the filler out of wood from bnq cost around £30 . Then sourced the birch twigs (that most brush fences are made out of) from the birch trees that had fallen down in the storm behind our yard. We actually made it into a horse shoe shape!
I dont see how you can use pallets to get it long enough? Ours is 10 ft long.
another thing to do which we also made is to make the wood filler/holder then stuff it with evergreen/connifer branches and leaves
