Hi, I have entered Cheshire County for the first time this year. I was just wondering how they usually play this with sending things out and how long it usually takes and if any pre entries are released? Any ideas? I know I sound a bit clueless but this is my first year starting with County Shows so not really used to it. Thank you for any help!

They send numbers and passes out to you, one to two weeks before the show. What class are you doing? ? Just being nosey.

They put class numbers on their website 2 years ago but not last year as they said they were too busy which I think is fair enough TBH.

Cheshire is our favourite (and most local since Royal Lancs' demise) county show. Whatever everyone is doing you'll all have a lovely day and remember to enjoy

For those of you going for the first time do allow plenty of time to get on the show ground as the route takes quite a time from the Motorway system & queues at the actual entrance can build up due to the volume of traffic.
Tannoy system is very good with class announcements, & also any section times in the schedule are very accurate.
For those doing both In Hand & Ridden there are 2 separate announcing systems, one for Ridden & one for In Hand (& a few ridden classes - vets & coloureds from memory) and also the walkways to the 2 types of classes are different but the ring layouts are very clearly marked
For those doing WHP remember to declare with the collecting ring stewards
