We have cat who was spayed around the end of May, everything was fine for a couple of weeks but recently we have noticed she has swollen a lot, she has a litter before and we kept one of the kittens and just noticed yesterday she has started producing milk, she has been acting differently as well just like how she was when she was pregnant last time, she grooms a lot and has increased eating and drinking, We have had tomcats around the house as well. We has considered this could be a phantom pregnancy but we have researched and everything has said spaying stops phantoms not causes them. Just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas or similar problems???

This isn't the same but, my cat has been acting strange.
I have a older cat, she's 14 this year and always had skin issues. Anyway the vets put her on some hormone tablets ( effectively the pill) for her skin and it worked a treat. A few weeks/ months went by then then she started nesting she also swollen and acting very strange, took her to the vets as we where worried and the vets/drug company have told us to take her off them which we have.
She's been off the them of a couple of months now, but every now and then she starts up again, nesting and being swollen.
Its all very strange and she does seem upset and cant get comfy.
Have you spoken to the vets? Hope you get sorted.
