Unfortunately there were quite a few uncatalogued ponies in the SP classes and once something started to go on in the main ring they stopped announcing results from the other rings which was a shame
WHP ring is the only one running now, I'm having a wrestle between staying to watch and going home and getting some housework done!

Why us it you have to be so harsh. The vast majority of the ladies and gentleman in the office, the stewards and the judges use their holidays to facilitate these shows and allow us to have the opportunity to compete and participate in the sport we love. I have witnessed so much rudeness from competitors towards officials I am amazed people will offer to help run these shows. How many of these competitors and their supporters give up their time to help at championship and other shows and contribute to our sport. The venue is great with lovely big rings on excellent surfaces. Not far too walk and good food facilities with helpful staff. As for atmosphere it can only be created by the people there. The folks in the ring work do hard for us. So why not be constructive and oh yes SAY THANK YOU for you to all at PUK for your efforts. I didn't deal with the secretaries at all but have to say I found all the stewards lovely and friendly with a sense of humour. The security guys were fantastic as usual and the venue also is brilliant. There are if course niggles that need to be ironed out and no the grandstand wasn't in front of the evening but last year there was no grandstand so improvements are being made! Phillip judge and his team selling hay etc were also brilliant. Through the day some of the classes were quiet and it did seem a bit flat but I thought the evening last night was just right. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Everyone chilling out on the grass so no need for the grandstand ! The evening team led by phill judge and Carey Knox did a sterling job and I for one thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish PUK every success at Stonleigh for the future and hope it goes from strength to strength !!!
