Going to see a pony today, Just found out it has one capped hock. Would it be worth going to see it as we like to show. Can someone help before we sit in the car for hours. Thanks

I personally would not show a pony with capped hocks as it would bug me, but to be honest there is one pony out this season that's winning everything with not 1 but 2 capped hocks, as yet none of the judges have noticed lol, so if you really like the pony go for it.

I'm sure that the capped hocks cannot have been missed by ALL the judges the horse has gone under. If the horse is as successful as you suggest perhaps it is because that even with the acquired blemish of capped hocks it is a better animal than those it's up against.

I have a cob with a capped hock, he's qualified for rihs begining of this year and later on in the 2016 quals and came 3rd in the hw hoys qual at Devon county also gained Many championships and Supremes and also claimed the highest placed junior award at royal international getting us into the championship! It's only let him down at local level to be honest bit strange but he's now up for sale.
