Can anyone recommend a set of clippers? They will be used all year hogging and trimming a hairy cob, and then used for a medium clip for the hairy cob and a sports horse over winter a few times. I want a set that aren't too heavy or stupidly noisy and something that will last and wont struggle with thick coats. I've got around £250 but can stretch. Any suggestions?

I use Harptner 3000 clippers, I used to use Liveryman arena clippers but after 2 pairs breaking I now use the Harptner. Used them for the first time last year and they don't struggle with thick coats at all. Would really recommend them

Call me old fashioned but I love my Wolesley Swift clippers. They are perfect if you are a one or two horse owner
