My beautiful mare has thrown a splint after hooning around the field, i am absolutley gutted as she is to be my daughters new show horse next season once broken. We are doing the obvious, with rest, cold hoseing, but just wondered if anyone has any advice on tried & tested products. Thanks

My pony threw a splint. I tried a few products but nothing really worked. My vet told me to be patient and I used magnetic boots on him and rested him. The splint completely disappeared!

we used splintex gold & radiol bone component but the only thing that has worked is a lemon and magnetic boots

I trained under Bill Froud, he said he massaged a splint away using olive oil 3 times a day, a cheap alternative or maybe add on.
good luck
