Was looking for some advice. I've never had one before but now I've started jumping i think I should. Which makes/models are good?

We have found racesafe to be the most comfy. The little panels mould really well unlike the straitjacket style!

I would go for a airowear, outline. Unless you are very shapeless and tall the how's race safe are a nightmare to fit, they tend to Come up long in the back. The lady that designed aow worked for m&s and designed bras for them too so is fantastic with understanding the female shape. Go to you local approved fitter tho as a ill fitting body pro can cause more damage than not wearing one at all.

Racesafe gets my vote, treehouse on line are fab , both my youngest daughters body protectors I have purchased from them, and both times made to measure racesafe ones

My vote goes to Racesafe too, I had an Airo-Wear Outlyne and found it very uncomfortable - it ended up on Ebay -. I just get the Adult Short length Racesafe (I'm 5'4") and it is perfect. Has just saved me a lot more damage earlier this year during a very nasty fall from a pony that bolted and threw me. I was badly injured but was told things would have been much worse had I not been wearing my body protector. Incidentally this was a fall during a flatwork lesson in which we were working in trot.....
