I was wondering if any one can help me, I have a 32 old pony with no health problems and generally a good doer for her age. But recently she has had a really funny tummy, although her poo is not that runny her bum is usually covered and needs cleaning daily.
She is currently feed on dengie healthy tummy and carrots and hayledge and is out all day.
I was wondering if anyone had any advise on something that I could feed her or give her to help her
thanks in advance.

First thing is to check her teeth, perhaps her mouth has changed since last done. And I assume worming status is OK.

It could also be the haylage, a different batch could have very different feed value. They do market haylage balancers naf do one but I haven't tried it, or you could try feeding a bit of hay instead of haylage on its own. Hope things go ok.

I would also get a good quality pro-biotic for her.

I would knock off the carrots. They have a massive sugar content which may at least contribute to the issue if not cause it. They are of little nutritional benefit to an equine on a good diet in any case.
