Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong discussion area. I'd just like some advice of showing a sec b pony. We've just got this pony and she's very dainty with a tiny little head. My little girl is desperate to show her as a show pony, Is this acceptable or would it have to be show hunter? We've only showm a's and a dartmoor up to now so not much experience with bs. We only do fun shows and riding club x Thanks x

Give it a try, nothing to lose! I show one of mine as a shp, but another was shown locally as a sp as a youngster. How old is yours? They do tend to carry on maturing quite late and become chunkier with work.

Thanks for the reply we'll give it a go. She's only 5 but absolutely brilliant for the kids to ride! I've just won my daughter a jacket on ebay for a couple of pounds, at least if she doesn't do that well as a show pony I haven't spent too much lol x

Hi, we show my daughter's Welsh B as a show pony as she is really fine and also with a dainty head. They look good as show hunter too but April (the pony) is not a hunter type as too fine so we stick with the show pony while competing
