tsn114, yes in the Semi final the top 3 qualify, in tomorrow's individual breed classes only the winner qualifies Thanks that explains a lot. Was confused by my fb feed as a million ponies seem to be qualifying for Olympia this weekend! I understand now

Just wondering if anyone can help
Sectiondcrazy was kind enough to get the marks, but I'm a bit confused as to why the pony that went first's marks are on there, and the one that went last is on there too but there were 24 in the class and only 21 marks? My marks aren't there and there was only that one sheet given out... Perhaps I'm just having a blonde moment and I've missed something but if someone could shed some light then that would be great, thank you x

I am well aware of the rules Caroline........ My pony was number 340........ As per the results on the aforementioned sheet and also on the bsps website we were actually 3rd ....... There appears to have been a mix up at the announcing stage, no complaint from me as I was chuffed to bits with 4th in such a huge strong class so to find out we were actually 3rd is an added bonus

With all due respect as a well respected judge herself I'm sure nickiop is well aware of the rihs heritage conformation ruling :/

I stand corrected. Very simply, looking at the marks sheet as posted, there didn't seem to be an error. All anyone sees (on viewing a 100sheet) is numbers on a page.
So, my apologies for what has been perceived by some to be a 'harsh' comment. But, on viewing the op's posting, it's guesswork as to the animal refered to was this no. and not that no.??

You've addressed me by Christian name - that's fine, as I post using my legal name. Conversely, I wouldn't know you from the nickname. My initial reaction when I saw your brief first post was to suggest mentioning the situation to the 'Office' as opposed to making a comment on here. Simply out of curiosity I looked at the (as it happens, available) marks sheet. Like you, I'm now regretting having bothered writing! Subsequently, you have explained and clarified the situation in your next post. Pen bashing by your colleague 'melons' wasn't really necessary; however, you seem delighted with the result, so well done

Pen bashing by your colleague 'melons' wasn't really necessary; however, you seem delighted with the result, so well done I think this is purely an example of how the written word can be misconstrue as it has no tone to it..... simply a case of cross wires My pseudonym is basically an abbreviation of my actual name, Nicki Oldershaw-Platt, although I have now dropped the Platt bit as I have been married for what feels like forever (The Platt part was used for professional purposes for some time as we had a call centre who insisted on advising previous customers, that asked for me by my maiden name, that there was no one working in the establishment by that name ) I would just like to clarify that I was in no way complaining, merely making an innocent observation......"thinking out loud" so to speak. As previously posted we were totally delighted with 4th so 3rd is just an added bonus Apology accepted and no offence taken
