Fantastic day at Countryside Live today, no prizes, but just enjoyed our day. To anyone who jumped round the workers think this must be the most trying starter stakes anywhere in the country. The wind outside in the marquee was horrendous too! One stop at first part of the double (in my daughters words, her fault, not the horse) then set off horrendously in the flat due to the wind and the bangs, also the fact that they started throwing poles into a rattle trailer next to her, but settled throughout her show and got better!!

H/F/D results: 1st Castlehill Primrose (I think) 2nd Littletree Limited Edition
Would love to see the Olympia F/H/D, M&M worker and starter stakes worker marks if anyone has them? I have to agree with the starter stakes, we did it last year and the starter stakes was a spookier course than the open M&M worker! Luckily this year we knew what to expect and I actually think the starter stakes course was easier this year. Also agree the arena under the marquee was quite dangerous and loads of ponies were getting so wound up, plus there were loads of ponies waiting around by the entrance which wasn't good when ponies were jumping everywhere! Think they could do with a declarations board

Think they could do with a declarations board I suggested to the commentary steward that perhaps they should move away when they have completed, however I also think competitors (and their parents) should actually be a little more responsible at times!! Mine was one who got herself hot under the collar, and I had to apologise to one or two for her aerobatics, but lizzy moved away once she had finished - but as I say, great day, has to be my favourite show of the year. Not sure what we will do next year, will need to go buy something so we can do starter stakes LOL! Mark sheets on website.

How did you do in best pony and rider combination?

Mine was first time in marquee and was so naughty and in the ring inside think it was too much for him when he hadn't been out much in summer haha it's embarrassing when they play up though he was fine until the marquee!
