my 12.2hh had a couple of days of very runny poo , no diet change at all , but i was afraid of dehydration , so had the vet out , who diagnosed Collitus , hes had a weeks worth of paste to settle his stomach , probiotics , asteroid jab , pain relief , and an anti spasmodic jab so the chances of colic was lessened , he improved within hours , i can see now that hed been a bit quiet/ off for a few days ,,,,,dehydration is a great risk , i would get the vet to check him , better safe than sorry

If you are feeding haylage that can cause runny poo.

That's what my friend's horse was like liquid first but after two weeks on hay all cleared up and she said she won't be putting him back on haylage again. This is two horses that I know of that have had a problem with haylage. Hope all gets sorted soon.
