Best of luck with your search , we were looking for the same a few months ago but all that seemed to be available were lead rein/first ridden types or open ponies that need an adult to ride them . We have ended up loaning a novice Dartmoor from a friend now as really need to get my 13 year old daughter onto something bigger than her Shetland . Hopefully now we are into winter more ponies will be for sale and you will find what you're looking for ?

My beautiful 5yr section a is a complete safe one off, even though young he is better than any older pony, a complete saint, stops when reins are dropped, done very well in the show ring, hoys standard, hacks out, jumps but not too forward, I really can't praise this sweet boy enough, you have to meet him to appreciate him! Not advertised yet as struggling to part with him, but need to find the right loving home as gp he's sp special.

I have a pony that would suit you I believe. He is currently being ridden by children in dressage and cross-country courses. He is very agreeable and has had professional training. No schooling or lunging needed. He is an extremely fancy mover! He can be registered as a sport pony but he is pure Welsh. I have some knowledge of his bloodlines but no paperwork. I'm not sure if he is exactly what you're looking for due to him not being a registered welsh but if you'd like to know anything else about him feel free to contact me.
