Please could you all give me an idea on what people look for in a 15hh shp? I would also like to see some photos of yours if possible? I'm unsure of whether my boy might be a bit to heavy, he is literally a middle weight hunter just shrunk a few hands. He hunts every weekend, a proper hunter, he jumps 5 bar gates over 4ft hedges, however I have seen that judges tend to pick out the prettier pony types. Thanks in advance!

Put a photo up. If he is a little heavy but jumps that well then sounds like a fantastic worker.

I have addded photos to the original post, he is moving a lot better than in the trotting photo now. Those are from last year, we did 4 chaps shows but I didn't like competing against so many types of horse.

hes lovely , and i dont think hes too heavy for SHP ,you might have competition because of the coloured aspect , however , a good horse is never a wrong colour , i do think hoever that he will make acracking worker ,,,, my only minor minor critism is , that i would have a slightly shorter browband , to pull the front of the head up away from the noseband

He's definitely doing the workers, it's just some of the shows are quite a distance so I am looking for more classes and I've never had a hunter before! Thank you for your comments, I do have a shorter browband, I will try it!
