Have anyone had there wagon re fitted out with living area. If so how much? How much work/living did you have done.
Any problems that I should be aware of?
Did anyone do it on a budget.
I have a 7.5 which was a racing wagon. So only a very small living area. Im wanting a sink, hob, double bed (there is one over the Luton ) and some storage room
I'm also wanting a water tank fitted and outside locker.
Thank you everyone

many moons ago we converted a lorry . To get the living fitted correctly i went into Wickes and had a cad printout done of the living and where we wanted the base and wall units , then we bought them separately elsewhere and fitted them ourselves. I bought the fridge , sink and hob from a caravan breakers yard and I think the whole job was about 700. However it was in the 90's!!!!!!!!!!

I started up another thread and ive had a few responses... horsegossip.proboards.com/thread/195015/bought-horseboxGeneral - guest posting area - ive bought a horsebox Take photos of before and after! Sounds like you are having as much fun as me trying to sieve through the ideas! Basically choice between buying new living from camping company, buying an knackered caravan and ripping out but having to dispose of at end at breakers yard, buying some new and some old off ebay.....

I'm very lucky that's my dad can do quite a bit of work, including putting a new step on it. I've just asked our local steel men if they have any spare steel going for the lockers! Which they have! Hopefully I can have anew shiny living soon
