I have a lovely equinola deep litter bed going from winter. Its mucked out daily and any surface wet taken out, then once a week I rake all the dry to the sides and removed a layer of the underneath wet and leave it up at the sides till night time when our boy comes in to dry out. So I'm left with a fab bed thats far better than rubber matting, dry and warm
My question is now the warm weathers here should I clear it all out? Does leaving it have repercussions for my livery owners concrete floor? And will it attract more flies/bugs if I keep it going?
Cheers xxx

i doubt that it will have a ny impact on the floor , but being a straw type bedding in the warm weather with a certain amount of soiled bedding in it , it will develope fungal spores , but if you are using it , and still taking out the wet probably twice aweek with the rise in temperature it should be ok
