I'm new to fell showing but have maintained my young fells feathers with pig oil and sulphur in the winters. Our first show is soon and I want to know how to get them fluffed up and silkier. Any tips really appreciated x

When bathing To dry off run though fine sawdust to soak up the moisture making sure it gets right into the roots. It sticks but don't worry drops out by morning!!

They don't need to be fluffed up, straight and silky is what you want. Keep on with the pig oil and a wash and condition when he has his bath, then comb through.
Good luck with him x

The sawdust dries them to stop the water rotting the roots
