What is the going rate of payment that you would pay someone to show your pony in an inhand class? Would it be more if the pony was a stallion? If so, how much?

I would be producing the pony and bringing it myself to the show, ready to go in the ring. How much would I need to pay someone to take it in the ring to show it?

Costs would depend on just who you wanted to handle the pony/horse - if it was one of the 'big' for want of a better word, professionals, I would think it may be very expensive. Years ago, I knew of an in-hand handler charging £40 a class (he was very good but not a professional), so it's anyone's guess in today's market. I suppose it would also depend on what level the classes would be, e.g. local, county, Cuddy, etc.
