Hi, the pony we have on loan has come up for sale, I have been offered first refusal before she is advertised. I would appreciate it if you could let me know what you think she is worth?
11.2hh 6 year old, bay registered welsh sec A mare.
No lumps, bumps, blemishes, ailments or vices. Broken in 9 months ago following breeding a foal, then turned away till January when we got her. Good to handle, box, catch, bath, trim. In snaffle and caveson for all activities.
Quite closely related to county level show winners in M&M and WH. Shown in hand successfully at local level prior to being broken.
Since we got her on loan in January we've put in a lot of work with her and she’s done the following:
Won at local level in lead rein M&M showing, first ridden M&M showing, showjumping, cradle stakes working hunter, M&M working hunter, handy pony, games.
Very good in open spaces, has been to the beach and round Craven country ride. Very well behaved on show ground, can be left on own in lorry and doesn't fuss.
Massive scope for jumping, is doing 70cm with jockey at the moment and has loose schooled 90cm with miles of clearance. Does all fillers, walls, water trays.
Done Pony Club rallies both indoor and outdoor, including XC schooling.
Member of PC games team which has just qualified for zone finals.
Not a complete novice ride as she’s only been broken in 9 months so needs some more education. Bad points are that she is quite mareish when in season and throws in the odd buck at this time (have started using oestress) and isn’t good in heavy traffic as she has seen very little of it, is nervous not naughty. Dishes very slightly when seen from the front.
Thanks!
