Our pony has smelly feet! When we pick her hooves up there is a distinctly unpleasant smell. I'm guessing it's Thrush but please can someone suggest an effective remedy? Many thanks.

Peroxide is what we have always used syringes into the clefts of the frog

I did hear that peroxide was good, but I'm afraid of dissolving her feet! Forgive my ignorance, but is it simply neat peroxide bought from the chemist?

Then use a purple spray or good old Stockholm tar.

Also N.T. Dry powder. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Why treat a condition that is already wet or not helped by wet conditions, with a wet product, is the theory behind this. I have to say I have had some amazing results from it. Also Oxytetracycline spray from vet, is also amazing but very expensive for what it is.

Give a good scrub then use a combination of purple spray and peroxide, it will push the spray into the litte cracks. Make certain this is done regulary and keep on clean dry bed, or a clean dry day stable
