Would love any advise if possible!
My boy has changed shape dramatically over the last year - really filled out!! - He's 15.2 Irish Draught - i have an everyday saddle and a Flyde Marjorie for showing - Last week i had a saddle fitter look at them both -
He altered the Flyde saddle which i must say i am extremely pleased with and now fits my boy beautifully! However, my everyday saddle is very old and can not be altered -
I now have a choice between second hand and brand new - The saddle fitter gave me some advise on second hand ones - ones with wooden trees etc so that they can be altered and also some advise on new - I get married next year so dont exactly have abundance of spare cash however my horse is more important and must be comfortitable so if a new is the best option then thats what we would get! I've never really bought many saddles and i am a little sceptical about buying second hand - not sure if thats just me being silly!
Any advise on any good second hand saddles i should be looking for? makes etc? or indeed any new? - i had been recomended 'Kent and Masters' - The saddle would be used for everyday - hacking, dresage, jumping, General Purpose - leather
Any advise would be great!
Kind Regards Sarah

I would go with what your fitter recommends as he's the only one knows what might fit the horse, especially if it's in budget.
