We are currently looking for a genuine first ridden pony to replace my 10 year olds current pony
The pony must be a been there, done it and completely genuine sort of pony to restore my daughters confidence
Ideally 12.2hh but would consider a 12h if need be, no younger than six years old, completely trust worthy in open spaces as we have no school at home, good in traffic and around farm machinery as we live on a working farm. If a 12h it must be able to take the leg up with potential to carry a small adult as this will give her much more time on the pony. The pony will want for nothing and be completely loved. We are a very knowledgable home. My daughter competed for years at county level on the lead on her trusty 11h Section A and took her first steps into first ridden with him, happily hacked all over off the lead with him but sadly by this time she was far too big for him.
My daughter loves her dressage and is a very tidy little rider, loves hacking out with me, would love to learn to jump and her dream is to sit at the back to start with out hunting. As she is only a novice the pony must be up and running with a proven record.
We are looking for a special pony to make her believe she can achieve this and be out there once again. Ideally we would like either a native pony or a show hunter type. No quirks or health issues and absolutely no second ponies
I don't mind having to wait for the right pony and I'm not opposed to loaning.
Please get in touch if you have anything that you feel is suitable within 100 miles radius of Derbyshire . We are at equifest for the duration next week so are available to see any suitable ponies that may be there as well.
