I have just recently purchased a 12hh lr pony who has spent most of his life as a companion (now 13) however he is very cresty but slightly tucked up behind and looks like he good do with a good feed, we have started light work, but just wondering what feed is out there to help balance him out abit more. Have him tested for EMS/Cushings because he is showing the clinical signs then speak to vet re diet depending on the results. In the meantime do not feed anything which contains sugar.

If they have been overweight in the past and grown big crests it can be very difficult to lose them again, even if the rest of him is lean and trim.
