Sorry if this sounds like a dense question.
I having SO many problems trying to find a saddle that fits- saddler doesn't want me to waste money as he will change shape already has totally once (cut January this year- just before he turned 5) put immense condition on
I have tried:
Fylde Emma- didn't fit whatsoever Dever do not fit
15" too long
We are currently using Thorn pad- now digging in withers as he has put condition on and physio is worried it's not supporting as should- possibly cause tissue damage!
So question is are all fyldes the same tree- it has to be 14", he has withers and sloping shoulder, imagine a warmblood in size of pony and that is my section A
Saddle needs to be show cut as we show every weekend.
thanks to anyone that may help

Fylde do and can change the saddle themselves, a bit wider or narrower. They used to have a good selection of second hand saddles but a lot of people now put them on HG or HQ and get a bit more money for them. Fylde usually have a fixed price for trade-in or buy-in. I don't think that they are on the same tree, not that I have ever asked, but when we bought a haydn last year of Peter I remember looking at another saddle and he said the tree was the wrong shape for our pony.

We found Samantha's good for show pony/SHP and Marjorie for the Welsh C.

i have a Samantha on my C for showing but the marjorie didn't look right which was pretty gutted as wanted the Majorie, ive heard from a few back people now to stay clear of marjorie don't know why but we are changing her to a black country classic as a much more comfy saddle and it is comfier for the horse too.

We have a black country saddle its fantastic! You'll love yours when you get it I'm going back some years when we had a Marjorie and it was a lovely saddle. Maybe they have changed the design or manufacture in some way.

I've found too that the different styles suit different ponies. We had a Samantha and a Marjorie both same size and fitting. Even though both fitted the 12.2 SP and 13hh sec b fine they just didn't look or feel right on the opposite pony! We stuck to the Marjorie on the B and the Sam on the SP...

They do have different trees, and they can be made to measure... I had one made for my cob mare, a Ray, and it has xxx+ stamped on it it's the widest saddle I've ever seen, but has fitted like a glove for the last 9 years!
