I watched all the show ponies and they were fabulous. I did notice in the lead rein all leaders led with left hand ( I'm not interested in whether this is correct or not) I am just curious if the judge requested this as some in the class don't normally do this. Many thanks

There has been a big push this year about leading with the left as it is deemed safer so you can grab the jockey with your right if needed.

Many thanks It is because you can have your right hand free to put your hand to your jockey if necessary. It is not in the rules you could use your right hand to lead

I was curious as to whether judge had requested as I've rarely if ever these days seen all lead with left. ??

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to workingcob - the live updates on the cob classes resulted in a distinct lack of productivity here!
