Looking to join a society next year but I'm a bit confused as to which is best for me and the rule books are massive.
I was thinking BSPS - if I'm right that's hoys, ri and Olympia quals?
I've looked on the site and they don't seem to have an area for West Yorkshire so bit concerned that there won't be that many shows near to me. I don't mind travelling but I can't afford to go too far.
Any help or recommendations?? I'm 29 and have a fell pony if that helps. Thinking about maybe doing quals but that isn't the be all and end all, so widest variety of classes/shows in my area is best.

Area 3b is our area. But the area isn't really relevant as we are so close to lots of other areas anyway and for qualifiers you will have to travel anyway. We are members of BSPS with 3b being the Area we represent.

Yes BSPS will cover you for all the qualifiers you mention plus they have 3 championship shows at Arena UK which is very accessible from Yorkshire. Lots of shows hold BSPS classes for M&Ms so it should not mean you have to travel too far to qualify for the championships, but the other qualifiers are spread around the country.

I'm definitely leaning towards BSPS, thanks for replying.

It's just straight forward with BSPS. One Society, you get proper credit card type membership cards for you & ponies which I just leave in my jacket pocket, they don't spoil if you get wet either. There are also lotsof classes you can qualify for for the champs too which are incorporated in the class you will enter anyway. 3b run White Rose County, they are a great bunch of people on the committee.
