Does anybody know if there's a site streaming or doing live written commentary?

Don't know how good it will be but H&H is doing live commentary on their H&H Live stream.

Thanks. Go Allessandro top ride marks in the A's but marks are really close so suspense will be great for final placings all down to conformation judges.

Many thanks jamese. Sadly I don't get to many shows now so don't know all the ponies out now well enough to follow without the stud prefixes. If Alessandro (I do know that one!) had the best A ride mark as chloesmum says it's obviously not a good year for the As then.

Apart from Busby it looks like the large breeds have done the best ride mark wise - but lots of close marks in the middle and conformation marks can change the whole line up. Exciting!!! Good Luck Katy & Becki xx

A lovely well deserved winner and reserve!
A shame there isn't a small breed in the final line up but that was obviously going to happen from the ride scores which left the highest one in 14th.

Delighted for the winner - well deserved from what I could glean. However, it really saddens me that no small breeds were placed - at all. Surely, something a bit odd. The quality of the large breeds should not/could not be that much better than the smalls. I also note that in the 'open' qualifiers very, very few small breeds go champ. Something to think about...

I think it was 14 smalls to 26 larges qualified. Only 1 Exmoor which is a great shame.

Do you think that perhaps some riders of small breeds look under-horsed, thus spoiling the overall picture for the judges? Only an observation and, of course, there were some fantastic and suitably~mounted riders on small ponies today Well done to everyone who qualified for Olympia 2015 and congratulations to all those who were in the final top ten and the Best of Breeds

Think it goes in 'waves' - last year was a good year for Small Breeds and other years it has been predominately large. Looking at the judges this year I would have expected it to be more large breeds - but as bigmama says's all beautiful ponies so well done all. Actually thinking about the year we were there with a C there were no C or D ponies in the final line up so I guess 'horses for courses'! I do think the Large Breeds are hard to beat in the qualifiers but at least with this system more small breeds go through.

Can I just check were they all stallions apart from Saith Magical Ginger in the top ten? Thank you! Menai Celtic Hero is a gelding and he finished 4th. Only 6 mares qualified this year, which is up On last years 3. My mare was the only mare to be placed in the top 10 last year, also a Welsh D

Thank you Dottydog, I wasn't sure about Hero so thank you for the confirmation.
Ah yes Miss Moneypenny, again another outstanding d mare. Well at least their numbers are going up. Congrats to all who went tho, but especially Schubert, Sandy and Ginger!

I had 4th overall and BoB with a home bred D mare some years ago.
Special congrats to Ginger - I have her dam here, although sadly lost the only foal I have had from her, she's an old lady now.

Sorry to hear that Sarahp. She is a very lovely mare. Weve just purchased her half sister from the Wishaw stud.
She looked gorgeous at Olympia

Thank you. Slipped the foal the night of a mega firework display close by about a month before it was due. Buckskin filly too by my stallion, last year I used him as too old and crocked to handle any more D youngstock now. Gutted.
