I have a yearling RID filly I will show this year 2016. Can people advise on these a) appropriate bridle/showing headgear for this breed b) is a bit required and what type is best c) how much trimming can I do d) should the (male) handler wear gloves. Thanks everyone

Always wear gloves when showing regardless of what it is, inhand or under saddle, infact you should always wear gloves when handling a horse esp a youngster. Carry a showing cane and wear jodphur boots or similar, protective toe caps would not go amiss with a big baby! The rest I will leave to RD experts.
