[i know its not much help at the moment but why don't you try growing your own later in the year they are so easy and the do tast much better than a lot of the commercial varieties. Yours Sincerley

Our local farmers grow lots of em but not at this time of year ... seeds are sown in May and beetroot harvesting time is July when they will be available to buy in bulk and cheap as chips in West Lancashire, The Fens and Cambridgeshire (best UK salad growing areas)

Try looking up your local fruit and veg. wholesalers,they can be stored like carrots so there may be some available.
