Need some advice... my little connemara is away at a friends house/yard keeping an older quiet gelding company and I went up yesterday and she has splint appear on her front leg. It has a tiny graze under it so think she has been racing around and caught it causing the splint. She's sound too and fine with me touching it. Anyways she's going for grading in June and I'm really wanting her to be a class 1 as I bought her to show (as well as be a family member) and other disciplines but mainly showing. I can't bandage her as she is out and if I bring her home she will be on her own at our yard and don't think this is fair on her. My question is will a splint affect her grading mark? And also what is the likely hood of it reducing alot? Is there anything I can get to put on it when she comes home? Thanks in advance x

Yes Tensolvet! Its a gel you put on a couple of times a day, start now while its new and i am sure it will go completely, maybe not by her grading but it should reduce it. Sorry cant help with the grading question though.
