This show is being held on the same day as the Southport Triathlon ( Go on - ask me how I know !!! ) . In previous years this has entailed the closure of the coast road from the roundabout at Crossens to the roundabout at Pontins in Ainsdale from about 6am to mid afternoon , to allow for the cycling phase . I assume it will be the same this year , so anyone coming into the area from the North might want to factor this into their journey time .
