Hello! Needing some advice on my Fell pony, He used to have lovely feathers but unfortunelty they've all burnt off and is showing slight signs of mud fever. What's the best way to grow his feathers out again (if they do grow back?). Also if anyone has any tips of treating mudfever or any good products? Thanks in advance!

I have always used an old fashioned way of treating mudfever, wash with a mild hand soap, like dove, rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not pick off the scabs, massage them and they will eventually come away.Use a healing ointment. Having the skin clean will help with the feathers, once the mud fever is cleared up try using coconut oil. One thing for certain is that the massage will improve blood circulation which will only assist with the condition of the hair
