I suspect a ovarian cyst. Personally with all of these health issues I would have her put down.

Hi, thank you but I’m not sure with the exception of her cushings what other health issues I’ve mentioned? Her kidney levels showed normal at her last blood test & she’s now of a normal weight. Her other organs are healthy, she’s confirmationally great, no issues with feet, teeth, back, eye sight, etc..?

I would still think it is ovarian cysts as these cause hormonal unbalances which explains her behaviour. Get a blood test, it will either confirm what I think or rule it out. It really can only be hormonal. I understand that cysts can be painful Sorry I misread the laminitis, It is her friend that has it. apologies.

The vets booked to come and scan her, and take bloods; I have a sinking suspicion it’s some sort of cyst or tumour, definitely hormone related. I just feel like I’ve fought a real uphill battle with her. Know nothing of her medical history, passport is practically blank. I just feel for her, not prepared to give up if I can make her life better just yet :-)

I have a horse that was very 'hormonal' and it turned out she had polycystic ovaries. She had them removed with no problems.
