Bay Mare - 9 years - 153 cm
The ultimate 153 (LHC) SHP - Homebred 9yo - Bay Mare - Warmblood / PBA
Qualified HOYS and Royal International 2019
The most exceptional breeding being by the late great Demonstrator out of a Fairlyn Gemini mare Fielding Jade/Whalton Sundown these lines are just no longer and is one of the last.
Dorris is probably one of the most exciting new faces to have hit the SHP classes taking them by storm in just a handful of shows this season.
Now painfully offered for sale on the open market by her heartbroken owner/breeder due to pregnancy and having her half sister ready to start its ridden career so sadly it is just not feasible to have two in a yard plus a newborn baby arriving any day now.
The fun success and pleasure this young mare has given us is far too long to list she really is a horse of a lifetime.
Easily qualified for HOYS and RI in the last 3 years
First at Search for a star (but didn't attend). Then as a Small Riding Horse (winning with amateur owner rider). Now this year as a 15hh SHP (with borrowed jockey who only sits on at shows is just 13 years old).
To say were above thrilled with this season would be an understatement making this decision even harder !!!
Results include:-
Qualified RI at Baston
At RI finished 8th gaining the highest ride mark of all 3 sections!!!!
2nd Cheshire County HOYS (huge class)
Pulled top at Staffs County Festival HOYS (another huge class but silly stride of wrong leg dropped us to 2nd, still took Reserve Champion)
1st North of England Summer HOYS then took Overall SHP Champion
1st Equifest 153 SHP and Reserve SHP Section Champion
These were the only 3 HOYS classes contested this year she is also standing 2nd in the country's most consistent league table for the 15hh Section.
Not only is this mare a top class winning machine but shes also as rock steady as a police horse to deal with at home or away. You can clip her from head to toe standing untied by yourself, hack out alone in any traffic, travels quietly alone or with others for any length of journey, can be left for weeks then just tacked up get on and go - Safe and honest and easy to do in every way. Lovely mover, correct and beautifully put together.
Ultimately not only is she a show mare but would also be ideal for someone wanting a smaller type Sports/Dressage horse to bring on and progress up through the ranks.
Regardless to all of the above Dorris is still the main priority throughout any of this and shall and will only be sold to a five star home where her care and welfare will be paramount. She can be turned away for winter but this would be such a shame when he best is about to come and she could be out achieving this with someone else following in the footsteps of her siblings such as Fielding Tom Sawyer Supreme Pony HOYS, Fielding Master Jack another big winning prolific SHP and many of the other successful Fielding siblings. Dorris is currently based in a producer's yard who also can't rate her highly enough and is happy to vouch for her if anyone would like a his opinion.
She can be viewed at HOYS First class on Sunday morning, tried there or available for viewing straight after by arrangement.
Based Cheshire 2mins from M6 J16.
Offers within the region of £18k. Other possibilities may be possible, even lease with stipulations to be discussed but ultimately a sale now.
