How come South of England have a Cuddy when they have cut out the Hunter breeding, Riding and Hunter pony in hand classes. Sounds like someone on the committee only wants a native to go through or HOYS have changed the criteria? Several other shows offering more sections have lost their Cuddy's in recent years so for South of England to keep theirs with so little on offer seems strange. There are none of these classes at Lincoln show either. There are a number of shows that do not have all the sections. What about the Hunter Show.?

What difference would the big guns have made, she is a superb example of a large RH.

Well done Alys - not the first time you've been to HOYS but still exciting! But I think you were a bit lucky that I wasn't there (LOL)

Great to see different faces at the top of the Large RH class. Form can be a bad thing. Well done to the judges for having a change around. Great to see Brogan and Amanda as the top two. Both are "big guns" in their own right on d**n good horses.
So what got the Cuddy?

Tee Hee - So WHO is nearly past it?? If I am hearing what I think I am hearing, that is a VERY not polite comment.
The name spelling says it all; how can you (whoever you are) be quite so rude about somone so talented??)

Not rude darling, teasing ;D Jayne will continue winning and knows that well. She would be the first to encourage extremely talented, glam young things to fly the flag for the SHA and set the standard for the future. By the way, Simon Cowell thought they were the prettiest girls he'd seen in the ring since Vicki Hesford xxxxxxxxx

Just to correct - it was Greer Taverner that rode Beaurepair Alys so beautifully to her thoroughly deserved win and Funtime Frankie was also a worthy winner. I believe that both horses and riders have had significant success in their own right and have previously held their own in big classes e.g. Alys was victor at the National Champs last year over many 'big guns' including the Queen's horse and Frankie has won on too many occasions to mention.
Perhaps the 'big guns' you might be thinking of didn't turn up because they knew that Martin Hucker wouldn't give a stuff who they were and would take manners, ride and confirmation ONLY into consideration.
Also congratulations to Team Harvey, who also took the large hack ticket today on Paschal High Flyer. Not doing too badly I reckon!

Congratulations to Greer & Team Harvey
Moggy Henessy won the Cuddy with Fell/Dales Reserve? Too far away to confirm. Sunglow Philomena? The M&M champion didn't feature.

I'm pleased to say that loads of Judges "don't give a stuff".........
And, we can't help the (very) few who do!!!
To me, it is HOW IT GOES and HOW IT's MADE which counts!!
