To those who asked about class numbers in the hoys:
small breeds - 8 hairies - 14 welsh Cs - 13 A/Bs - not sure, but about 12 i think
Didn't see connies, and didn't count up the Ds but think there were about 16.

There were some very high class ponies there (numbers don't mean everything!) but for all the quality, the star of the show for me was the very little, very young person on the grey Shetland, who studiously rode the (quite intricate) individual show to the letter.
It must have felt lile MILES in that huge ring.

13 lead rein I think and 19 first ridden very low numbers compared to normal these classes are normally HUGE!! Dont know the numbers in the others only arrived to see the C's go round and didnt count then the D's but again didnt count but def didnt seem anywhere near the amount even on the showground total as normal ! Hold your breath a friend told a friend that there are 70 M&M First Riddens entered at Norfolk.

i agree the little girl on the grey shetland was a star, such a shame the pony bucked (little devil). She rode her show really well and put some of the adults to shame. Star for the future.
