am i seeing things or is the winner of the Cs in a snaffle? i think it is very unusual for the winner of an open HOYS qualifier to be unable to go in a pelham.

What a silly comment snaffle. I think the fact that this pony was in a snaffle and not in a "pelham outline" is to be commended. For gods sake it is the mark of a well schooled and balanced pony that will do a good job in a snaffle. And it did do a good show. Typical of someone who only cares about the show and not the way the pony actually goes. Oh and I dont know the pony from adam in case you think i have connections but i did watch the class as I do have an interest in the breed.

You obviously didnt see the pony go, it went superb, much better to see a pony in a snaffle, than overbitted, with its head on its chest.
There is no rules saying you cant use a snaffle so what is the problem.

i really like the pony's type and am not making a dig at the competitor, however, i do think that an open pony should be able to go in a pelham or a double, and am suprised to see a pony in a snaffle winning a HOYS open class. to say that a "it is the mark of a well schooled and balanced pony that will do a good job in a snaffle" i also find suprising as snaffles are for novices. i personally believe the sign of a well schooled and balanced pony is one which will actually not go overbent in a pelham or double -not one which goes above the bit in a snaffle.

What a petty remark Snaffle Guest, and he most certainly didnt go above the bit in a snaffle,it obviously wasnt an issue for the judges, isnt breaking any rules, the pony was happy with what was in his mouth and if that is what suits him I am sure that is the most important thing!I think perhaps I know who you are trying to post a comment that will lead to a slanging session but it is really so irrelevant.I hope she rides him at HOYS in a snaffle, and think perhaps placed or not they will enjoy the day because they deserve to!!!!!!!

The pony is stunning and ive seen it go perfectly well in a pelham before. What does the bit matter if the pony has stunning confirmation, turned out beautifully and went well on the day? Refreshing to see something go properly and happily!! rather than just head pulled in trying to look pretty Good luck to them at HOYs i say xx

perhaps (snaffle) if you did not mean to upset anyone or offend anyone you should not go on as a guest and use your real name . This page is for results but there is always someone that has to have a gig this pony goes superb in whatever he is ridden in like all of her ponies dont try and take the shine of what is a fantastic achievement as this pony has only been lightly shown and is still only six!

i think its refreshing for an anim,al to go on and win a HOYS Q class in just a snaffle snaffles aren't justf ro novices..least it shows it has manners and is extremely well schooled..i dont even know the name of this pony so i too dont know this pony from adam..just thinks it s refreshing change and the judges should be commended. xxxx
