What a pleasure to see a proper up to height WHP course that's how they should all be it is the best course I have seen all season so congratulations to the course builder and all who got round especially clear rounds. Great triple in course and bullfinch loads of sheep hidden in jumps big solid looking jumps that were inviting

Scotland was fantastic, it had everything, plus it was definitely up to height.

who was the judge cos that s not a hoys pony debbie gregson by any chance How rude, well done to the winner, and correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that particular pony has been to HOYS on several occasions, and done very well when it was there. I agree, what a rude comment .............. but then you always get one who has to try and ruin it for someone !!

Great triple in course and bullfinch loads of sheep hidden in jumps big solid looking jumps that were inviting Graham Barclay is a fabulous course builder. He doesn't take prisoners as he believes that anything that qualifies for HOYS/RIHS must be able to jump, but his courses are fair, true and with no 'tricks' in them. I think we can safely say that Graham should take a lot of the credit to the success of the Scottish WHPs as we are used to jumping his wonderful tracks week in and week out, so our ponies don't get a fright when they go to the Champs etc. Nice for him to be given the credit and I will pass on your compliments when I see him next, thank you ;D My coloured mare jumped the most amazing round on Saturday in the Intermediate WH and was pipped to her HOYS ticket by only one mark Hopefully she will get there yet. I have only just recovered from Saturday, as apart from a quick 'pop' to see Jemima jump, I never got away from my computer as went straight from inputting all the late entries to processing the results. Nice to have a thread about a show where (apart from one comment) there is no slating of judges or results! - although inteestingly this forum came up in conversation over supper that evening and the judge who did judge the Mini SPs his horrified about some of things said on here (and some of them about him) and he an others around the table were all concerned about the future of showing and who will judge if that is the treatment they receive.
