I watched Bucks Fizz win last year and he was the winner by a mile, so no surprise he has done the double - a superb moving pony

they had to do a set show in the INT SH with a simple change through the middle , and some did mess up a bit . I have to say the winner was well deserved , i also thought Opium Vaulette was stunning and would have been higher ? Also loved Little Diamond but he messed up his individual show a bit , but a beautiful horse

results for Search for a star Riding Horses / Hacks
1st (hack) Barella - Claire Blackham 1st (RH) Ricardo - Rachael Payton 2nd Fynetime - Lorna Pearson 3rd Hawklands Black Jasper - Lauren Hawkes 4th Royalsview Top Cat - Helen Evans 5th Bramley Moor Clover - Stella Plant
This seemed a very difficult class to judge as the two hacks were both very unsettled , the judges therefore decided to change the classification on one of the RH's which was very hack type , and put it through as a Hack , the dubious thing about this decision is that the one they put thro ( Barella) is in the catalogue as 164.6 cms high ! Too big to be a hack unless there was a mistake in the catalogue ! But i suppose the judges had no choice really as they could not have put either of the Hacks thro as they were so unsettled .
One poor gil was called forward in 2nd ( Bellvue Highlander i think ) and her horse became upset in the prize giving and knocked one of the Stewards clean off his feet , so she had her place taken off her , really felt for her

Agree with Apple123, really felt for Ali f*gan in small hack class, was so unfair, poor horse did not stand a chance to do a settled show with the clapping and cheering going on. Since when did it become practice to clap after some of the individual shows in the hack classes at HOYS?
