Someone has offered £1000 for my welsh A red. I'm not sure if i should sell him or not I've had red since i was seven i got him as a stroppy Green youngster. As I've got another pony Gretal recently i've not spent as much time with red. Only my friend Laura can ride him because he like's to buck people of but laura's got a fantastic seat so she can't fall of him. Red's a great companion to my other pony he won't go one a ride without her. He's got a great character alway's a happy little pony ! x But should i expect this man's offer? He's got a Young daughter who's disabled and just's want's a pony to look after and care for . I know Red would be Awesome at this as he's always wanting a good groom and cuddle. But Gretal love's Red and i don't know what ether of them would do without each other. I would only sell him of he's going to get a loving owner. I wouldn't just sell him for the money. Should i accept the offer? Please help me i don't know what to decide? xxx

Well, if you think of it this way, Red is going to struggle to find another home because of the bucking, no one is going to want that. As he will be going to a home where he will be adored from the ground, the bucking will never become an issue! It therefore sounds ideal.
However, if you love him and feel you nor your other pony wish to be without him, then keep him. But, i can assure you, your other pony will be fine given a few days and so will you.
It sounds like a lovely oppurtunity to sell what sounds to be a difficult pony.

1000 for a section a in this climate go for it. I know the money is not an issue to you but I'm sure the decision will seem the right one after a few days. Red is going to do a lovely thing for someone if you go ahead with it! Just think of thr smiles on the daughters face! How about a trail few weeks see how you all cope! Good luck hope you can decide x x

I'd agree to a trial and see how it goes.

Would go with the trial but would make sure you think carefully about the conditions of the trial and make sure you have a signed agreement just to be on the safe side. Good luck with whatever you decide.

£1k in this finacial climate must mean they are very interested in him as that is a decent amount in this climate.

The important thing is that your pony is going to have a secure home and the man is buying him for the right reasons, knows his history and can cope with any problems. If the answer is yes then go for it.

I would give him to them let alone sell him. If they want to pay you that much then it would have to be bye bye from me.

£1000 is a hell of alot, especially for a pony you says bucks nd many people cant ride him... they obviously really want him! and if hes going to be spoilt rotton, what else would a pony want!!?
