Well well done to Prince and his connections. The lovely boy was on the same yard as our little mare and a nicer person (Prince) you couldnt meet. Has he (or is he to be) cut yet? That he was a stallion and wouldnt concentrate on the job was always the reason given for his messing about before. I am so pleased that he is finally getting his rewards. I am sooo proud of our little home bred mare who after moving yards (nay countries!!!) has today jumped a stormer and was 2nd to Sam Roberts in the small height RIHS workers, and as Sam has already qualified we got it!!!!

I have just heard the news that Richard Holt's NF has qualified for Olympia at Area 29 and logged on to view 'Well I Never's comment. Richard and Anna put alot of hard work into their horses and this pony, in particular, has been consistant all season, with the exception of a 'wrong leg' at Windsor.
I can only assume that 'Well I Never' has a hidden agenda - can no one be pleased for the individuals that qualify?
Well I Never -- if the people that are passionate about their horses and the showing industry cannot put back into their sport by either judging or standing on an area committee or council then we will have no governing body or shows. To obtain personnel that are totally outside the showing circle to officiate is not practical or realistic.....

i think that the new forest is lovely even if i am baised as i show foresters but there is no need for nasty comments
well i never why werent you there competing?
to ride in an olympia qualifer must be very nerve racking so the nasty and sour opinions dont need to show if you could do better maybe we will see you in a few qualifers!-

Can I just say a big thankyou to all the competitors, judges and stewards at the show today? The weather was vile, but there were still a lot of smiling people about which was great! Can those of you with friends who don't visit this site please pass the message on Best of luck to all of you for the rest of the season Shelley ps thanks to oh and daughter and Kevin for their day long stint in the workers ring, they said the judges were great!

Thanks Frozzy, well done with your mare. Prince went on to be second in the intermediate worker. He is still entire, we have had no problems with him but have heard a lot of bad reports about his behaviour. Think he is happy now he has a one to one with Heath. He does pleasure rides, show jumping and workers. Will probably do a few flats later as well. Thanks Maryh, well done Aimee. Didn't go to the show today but kept in touch on the mobile - You lot must have been soaked, wet tack, wet rugs, wet clothes - thank god I don't have to clean out the lorry. Well done Richard from all of us at Wyken Well done Fiona for today and yesterday
